This property is MASSIVE and so perfectly laid out, you’ll find all the privacy you’d ever desire when traveling with a large family or groups of friends. Every detail was so well planned and the quality of construction is top tier. You’re literally on the top of the mountain, the views sweep across endless amounts of ocean, we saw several whales, it’s like a bird sanctuary. At the end of the day, there aren’t words to describe how present one feels there…. Lastly, Juan is the man- he went above and beyond in planning outings, hikes, chefs, doctor appointments…he’s Johnny on the spot. We will all be back as often as possible as we feel like family!!
Julia (Texas) Sayulita Life rating 5.0 Amazing home! My group of 10 (two families - 4 adults, 4 teens, 2 kids) stayed here for a week over New Year's. This home is one of the most amazing places I have ever stayed! The house is beautiful, there is so much space, and there are so many amenities that everyone was entertained. We loved the pool/hot tub, ping pong table, and pickleball court. The views are just stunning. We had Kristina come to the home to cook us two meals, and they were delicious. Juan was a constant help and answered so many questions for us and helped us make plans. We rented golf carts and enjoyed driving to town to eat and explore. The home is a perfect mix of private residence + hotel, since you have Juan as your concierge and there is daily housekeeping (which was a pleasant surprise for us, since we are used to vacation rentals where nothing is included), but we had the whole home to ourselves. Lina was also a great help in pre-planning, organizing our airport transportation and golf carts, as well as providing recommendations for local tours. I highly recommend El Mirador! MOTL (Aspen) Sayulita Life rating 5.0 PERFECT! Look no further! The photos of this house do not do it justice! It truly feels like you are at a spa retreat. The pool/hangout area is spacious, stocked well and relaxing, the pool is bigger than it looks in the photos! The rooms are organized well, with 3 separate suites which gives families or groups travelling together the privacy they need with enough common space for everyone to hang together. This home was recently remodeled and you can tell, everything is in good repair, clean and well maintained. The beds were comfortable and the owner provides nice amenities for their guests. The kitchens are well stocked and the home has a water filtration system and a large icemaker. The cherry on top of this rental is the property manager Juan. Juan is kind, knowledgeable and went above and beyond for all of our requests. We will definitely be back! Stayed: January, 2022
Michele and Peter (Santa Cruz mountains) Excellent family vacation Our family had a fabulous week at Casa El Mirador. We were 11 people in 3 generations and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The house is beautiful, spacious and beautifully appointed. Juan and his faithful companion Drago do an excellent job of maintaining the house, pool and property. Our only issue was the location. The steep hill made for fabulous views but required a golf cart or side-by-side 4 wheel drive vehicle to get up and down. We will be back. Stayed: February, 2023

We have stayed in Sayulita for years and battled the stairways found in most view houses – it really made the home accessible for our age group. The perfect layout for a large family get together. You’re planning a vacation for your family or close friends and would like privacy views and top notch accommodations. You found it. Three separate Casitas and your own private pool. 180° view of Sayulita. If you’re lucky, Juan Ruiz will be on site and can act as your concierge. He’s a bundle of knowledge and for a small fee can take you on a hike, show you the best beaches or direct you to a restaurant of your choice. I’ll be back. Stayed: November, 2021
Josh Bailey (Newman California) Sayulita Life rating 5.0 Great property for a large group Fantastic property layout and design that was fun for a big group in the pool area, but with fully furnished villas that allowed people to separate into the different areas and have some personal space. Having an elevator was amazing (we are not big stair fans) and made getting around the property so much easier. Amazing views, close to town and having a golf cart made it easy to blast into town or the beach. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend this property. Gracias! Stayed: May, 2021
Alexis J (Los Angeles) Sayulita Life rating 5.0 WOW Views are incredible from this home! The location was perfect – high enough to see amazing sunsets, with jungle and ocean views from every level. Far enough away from the noise from downtown, but it’s just a few minutes to the center of Sayulita and all the nightlife and restaurants. The homes are so unique and just such a special property the way it was all designed. The hosts and the service were excellent. Super clean, safe and beautifully decorated. We will be back next year! Juan is very friendly and welcoming. This trip requires driving, and we never felt awkward during the drive, he is very easy to chat with. Also, he lived in U.S and our conversation in English was great. This was a very unique experience and we enjoyed.

We loved the pool and covered pickleball court! The hospitality was incredible with homemade wood fired pizza and pasta meals from Kristina. Our group never ran out of things to enjoy here. Tammy Cotton (San Juan Island, WA) Sayulita Life rating 5.0: Sanctuary! This property is fabulous in every aspect. David and Mary are the consummate hosts, they have thought of every detail to make your stay relaxing, fun and safe. The scenery and sunsets are stunning, the beds very comfortable and the pillows perfect. The property is very clean, and we had our rooms serviced during our stay! The kitchens are stocked and the bathrooms even have nice shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. The AC in each unit cools nicely and the pool is very refreshing. The gathering place near the pool is also great with games, music and a full kitchen for our group to have breakfast and lunch from. Then there is Juan, who is amazing! Juan is your personal concierge, he is able to arrange anything you might want to do or see, he arranged a personal chef to come to the property, massages on site, he was our tour guide for hikes, he has so much knowledge of the area and local tours; he is always smiling and super helpful!! Beautiful pool area. Peaceful setting away from the busy town. VERY steep drive up to the house. Okay for walking down but too difficult to walk up particularly at night in the dark. Had to rent atv which Juan arranged for us right away and for a reasonable price. Juan was fantastic - arranging airport transportation, finding atv, taking us to town to meet a tour guide, scheduling a chef for three nights and checking in every day. His dog is so sweet! We also enjoyed the house cat. David, the owner, made a point to come greet us and offer recommendations. Had fun playing pickle ball on the lower level court. If you are looking for a great house for separate families that want to share a common area - this is the place for you.

If you are looking for a place to relax with pools, games and recreational activities, and views so stunning you won’t want to leave the house, this is the place! It is literally just minutes from town on a fun and exciting golf cart ride down the hill to beaches, shops, and restaurants. We plan to visit every year. Our favorite stay has been in Casita 2 - Katarina, with amazing views and a comfortable living space. But we have been lucky to view them all- and each one is spectacular and has its own, unique charm and flare! The casitas at Casa El Mirador are uniquely designed to accommodate families, yet cozy enough to be exclusive for the couple looking for a romantic stay. It was literally brand new – Fully furnished with everything you need. Juan the host was so nice and helpful! Definitely the best view house in Sayulita 180 degree sweeping views of the ocean and jungle. High enough to see the sunset (you can’t see it from town or lower down on the hill). Comfortable villas with full kitchens, flat screen tv’s, king size beds and 2 full bathrooms. Great pool and Spa, and full pool kitchen. We can’t wait to return in 2022. Stayed: March, 2021
MattR (California) Sayulita Life rating 5.0 Amazing House! El Mirador was absolutely incredible. The owners and staff were so friendly and helpful for whatever we needed during our week-long stay. The property is fully stocked and in amazing shape. Easily and comfortably housed the 8 of us (3 couples and 2 singles) for the week and could accommodate more than that. The common area by the pool was where we spent the majority of our time which has everything you need for an outdoor living space including fully stocked kitchen, two large bathrooms with multiple stalls, and large TV with surround sound. A/C in the suites was powerful and very helpful during the humid times we were in Sayulita. The pickleball court was great too, we had some excellent games and was a great and fun way to exercise. Golf carts are key and make the journeys up and down the hill much easier. It's high up but the views are stunning and the location is private and quiet (unlike some of our other friends who stayed closer to town, we didn't have to deal with any of the noise from the crowds or clubs. Would absolutely stay here again!!
Juan is a great communicator, very friendly and clearly loves what he is sharing with his guests. He messaged before the hike, met us on time and led us on such a great hike. Then provided drinks and snacks and shared stories about the area, his life, whilst we enjoyed the summit views. I definitely recommend Juan as a tour guide, his is well travelled, bilingual and very personable

Mauricio, Rosarito, Mexico agosto de 2024 Estancia con niños La casa Mirador tiene vistas espectaculares, es mucho mejor el lugar de lo que se ve en fotos, todas las amenidades de la casa son ideales para disfrutar en familia, un plus que cada casa tenga su propia cocina equipada y terrazas para ver el paisaje, la colina para llegar a la casa es algo complicada, la piscina de agua salada es idea para los niños, mientras los adultos se relahan en el jacuzzi. La Srita de limpieza siempre fue muy amable y limpiaba diario las casitas, Juan siempre estuvo al pendiente de cualquier duda y nos recomendó actividades, la cocina con comedor en la palapa fue el punto de reunió para todos, fue mucho más de lo que esperabamos, las camas super cómodas y toda habitación cuenta con aire acondicionado, los baños en el área de alberca ideales para no estar subiendo a las habitaciones. Basically 2, 2 bedroom casitas on one level (Units similar) Then a master 1 bedroom down one level and the common space with outdoor kitchen and awesome pool with jumping platform from hot tub. We sadly, didn’t even use the pickleball court. My husband and 2 kids ages 3 and 6 were very comfortable in our casita and the rest of the family was well suited in the other areas. It was nice to have some privacy, especially with younger kids. The beds and linens are comfortable and better than most rentals I’ve stayed in. The house manager, Juan, was Incredibly nice and welcoming. We’ve been to sayilita but the first time we had kids in tow and it was nice to have a local source for questions. We arranged for chef prepared breakfast and dinners most days with Erik, very talented. Best tamales I’ve ever had! And the tres leches… We will return! Thank you!!
KENDRA Juan was an exceptional host. He spent the drive to the trailhead telling us about the areas we passed through, hidden beaches, and other interesting stuff. He's a great hiking partner, very easy to talk to, lots of stories to tell and a genuinely nice person. The hike itself was great, beautiful views and definitely doable for all fitness levels. We're pretty active and made it to the top fairly quickly with no trouble. If you go in the morning (like we did) you're unlikely to run into anyone. Juan mentioned it can get busier as the day goes on. JANUARY 2021

Juan the caretaker was so helpful! Perfect for large families & friends. The pool and hot tub was perfect for the kids and we all enjoyed the pickle ball court. This setup gives privacy to each family but the common areas like the patios, the pool/hottub, the cabana, the poolside kitchen, the sports court are great areas to come together. Where: This house sits atop a hill that gives incredible views. It's far enough away from town for peace but close enough to golf cart down. Tips: Rent a golf cart. Even if you enjoy walking/hiking everyday, its a trek down and uphill and if you are getting groceries you do not want to walk up carrying them. We had 11 people and Mary and David's house was perfect for this! We got to split up into 3 different casitas which meant we had our own space for sleeping, relaxing, and even eating if we wanted. We were surprised that each casita had its own kitchen! It was amazing. The decor was beautiful! The views from the house are breathtaking! The pool area with the loungers, outdoor shower, bathrooms, and changing room was great. Going into town was a lot of fun and we loved making trips down to check out the shops and restaurants. We also found a section of the beach where it was much quieter than the main beach in town. We loved it. I'm not sure what the name of it is but it's right by the El Camion food truck (Address: North Side, Av. del Palmar 83). We hated having to go home and we can't wait to return
